powers : Sound manipulation, which he has had since he can remember. He can hit the note that will shatter glass, sing the phrase that'll make your heart bleed, find the dissonance that can make blood vessels in your brain explode. He can conjure up emotions by song, but he hasn't really realized it's an actual power yet. There hasn't been much need to kill anyone. Matter manipulation, when Will chose, another power activated. Ge can change the matter of objects and well, matter. From liquid to solid to gas to liquid to solid. And, as all Gemini or Kamui, he can fly.

H I S T O R Y

The older of twins, Hayden was born on the 31st of October, five minutes to midnight. His younger twin sister Tamara entered the world ten minutes later and their mother, delusional from the drugs and hilariously tired from 14 hours of labour told the midwife they were named October and November, while their father lay passed out in the hospital floor. The names were added to their birth certificates and once morning came and the new parents saw Catherine's mistake, they couldn't bear to change them back and so Hayden October and Tamara November Wright started their mortal lives.

Moving around within California, the Wrights never really settled anywhere until Catherine was transferred to Disneyland's legal offices, and signed a ten-year contract. In turn, Kane sat at home, composing on a freelance basis.

The twins were 10 when they first moved to San Fernando Valley and up until that point in time, they were both very similar people. Tamara and Hayden did everything together, they slept at the same times, got hungry in synch, finished eachother's sentences. When Catherine started working at Disneyland, however, Tamara followed her as much as she could, fascinated beyond belief by the rides and the mere spirit of it, even inside her mother's office.

Hayden stayed more at home with their father, and thus ended up more interested in music than anything else. Kane would educate him in basic harmonizing and watch as his son put together small pieces on his own, silently impressed at what he was able to do at such a young age.

It escalated, and by the time he was 13, Hayden was known to pull allnighters to finish songs he had started to write that night, or the one before. He played the piano and acoustic guitar as if he had done so all his life, and after some nagging, he managed to convince his parents to give him vocal lessons. They neither encouraged nor discouraged him, and Hayden was pretty much left to fiddle with his music alone.

A year later, and Hayden and Tamara started Grenada High together, placed in the same homeroom as William Montgomery. It seemed almost by default, but Hayden started hanging around Will while Tamara found her own group of friends and the twins grew further apart.

Hayden fell asleep in class a lot, but he didn't really care much since he got through high school easily, picking subjects he had no trouble bullshitting at the last possible minute. He didn't have much interest in anything save music, and was more often than not broken up with by his girlfriends because he didn't pay enough attention to them. He grew better at it as he neared his senior year, but it bugged him they couldn't understand music would always be his first priority.

Deciding on entering UCLA as a music major because well, what else could he really do, Hayden ended up moving in with Will in Santa Monica and eventually, as they were looking for more roommates, Kyle, Lydia and Gabriel. He got better at the whole social thing during his freshman year and has opened up a great deal in the last year, happy that he can still see his sister on regular occasions, as she attends the law programme at UCLA too. Except, of course, she's a sorority girl and he will never, for the life of him, understand that.

Hayden has no idea what the fuck this end of the world crap is all about and would very much like to just sit around in their slightly run-down Santa Monica house, smoking and writing songs.

...and going to class.

Right.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

While Hayden is a closed person when it comes to new people, he's still very open with those who know him. He'll laugh and crack jokes and make fun and scream his head off, like a normal person. He'll even let them drag him wherever they want to, he's no too fuzzy on social activities.

But to those who don't know him, Hayden can be quite defensive. He doesn't initiate conversation much, preferring to be spoken to before speaking and even then, he'll only really start talking if the subject, or person, interests him enough to care much. He's a bit on the sarcastic side, and enjoys being a tiny bit mean, although it's rarely because he wants people to feel bad, it just comes naturally.

He likes to goof around more than he likes to work, and can often be seen sitting around with Gabriel not doing much of anything. Hayden can be really protective about things he cares about, though, whether it be people, objects, places or memories, and he'll play the big brother role for Tamara as often as he sees fit or finds possible.

A P P E A R A N C E

Tall, lanky and with long red hair he usually keeps in a ponytail, Hayden wears glasses because they fit his image more than he actually needs them. He doesn't wear them as often anymore as he used to, either, he's taken to forgetting them in places and hasn't really bothered to look for them for a while.

He's a slacker, but doesn't exactly dress like one. T-shirts and jeans, naturally, but they're more slim fit than not, and it might look like it's a lot of effort, but deep down, Hayden is just a little vain and goes out of his way to look... if not presentable, at least hot. He wears skirts to concerts, black with a lot of accesories attached. He claims they're comfy, but a lot of it's for image.

People usually see him just as he is though, a slacker vocalist who might be brilliant, or maybe just lucky, they can't really be sure. He gives off an air of not really caring, but still being serious enough to care, as long as it's something worth caring about.
